Volunteer

Our work is made possible by the outstanding contributions of many skilled and dedicated volunteers. From surgeons to students, IVUmed volunteers each play a vital role in advancing our mission.

We are seeking physicians, nurses and technicians to volunteer on our workshop teams abroad. Volunteers will collaborate with their host counterparts to help increase the availability of quality surgical training and patient care in partner developing world communities.

Just as volunteer surgeons are needed to teach surgery abroad, community volunteers are needed to apply their skills and dedication to our mission. Awareness campaigns, fundraising drives and special events are fueled by the energy of community volunteers.

IVUmed works with students from a variety of backgrounds to conduct research and raise awareness. Volunteer and internship opportunities are available.
